This past week was another 3-show week. We talked about Due Diligence on Nerd Stock talk.
This past Tuesday, we had with us is the highly acclaimed and celebrated illustrator, Jason Lenox!
He’s here to talk to us about his latest project, Lords Of The Cosmos Issue #4 - epic 80s inspired comic book!
On Thursday, we were incredibly excited to have with us is the award-winning and celebrated writer of comics and fiction prose, Stephanie Nina Pitsirilos!
She talked to us about her works in comic realism and her latest projects, The Covid Chronicles, Insider Art, and the latest Kickstarter she is a part of: Elsewhere Volume 2.
Project Updates
I started plotting out a rewrite of my Tadman issue 4 as a stand-alone story. It’s Christmas-themed and reading the original has a lot of references and jokes that a 17-year-old high school student in the early ’90s might find funny that seems to fall flat a bit for a father in his mid-forties in the 2020s.
I’m using the ‘save the cat’ program to plan out this issue rewrite.
What I’m reading
This past week I was also fortunate enough to get my hands of Lords of the Cosmos issues one , two, and three. I am reading them so I can send in a letter for the letters section of issue 4. I really enjoyed how Jason Lenox designed the universe and the wide and diverse cast of characters has made it really enjoyable as well
Personal Updates
This week was the last week of daily trips to the doctor’s office for a loved one.
Also, this week continued the super cold, and we did have some snow, but not as much as most other places.
Also: 1:53 extra minutes of daylight!
