Podcast Updates

This past Thursday I had a really fun time chatting with the nationally acclaimed Cartoonist and Illustrator, Daphne Lage!

She’s talked with me about her successful career as a professional artist and also chat about her latest Kickstarter project, Egoraven.  She also had some great artist advice too.

Project Updates

I have been working this week on mapping out a revamped  ‘2 Years’ outline with the stuff I learned from the Pixar in the Box and the ‘Save The Cat’ beat sheets.

I also have been chatting with a couple of my friends and might be starting up a second podcast?  Stay tuned for that!

What I’m reading

I read Jeffery Brown’s ‘Lucy and Andy Neanderthal’.  It’s a kid’s graphic novel book that was educational in nature that taught the reader about Neanderthal life 40,000 years ago.  It was a fun and quick read and he did a very good job understanding who his audience is for the book.  I’m excited to have my girls get a bit older and read it themselves.

Personal Updates

This week flew by and I am happy to see that now (as of this blog post) we have 25 extra minutes of daylight!  The winter has been fairly mild, so I cannot complain too much for the cold, but I do love waking up early and seeing the sun, and that still will not happen for a few more months.

Also, since quarantine, my wife has been my barber and she chopped my hair again.  I’m sporting the ‘Quarantine Chic”  look
