ALWAYS POSTED A WEEK EARLIER ON PATREON

Podcast Updates

On Sunday, JP and I continued our cryptocurrency series where we focus on the history and viability of a specific cryptocurrency.  We are going chronological, so in our second segment, we talked about Litecoin.

Then on Thursday, We were excited to have with us the internationally acclaimed Children’s Book Author, Lynn McAllister!  We had a great time chatting about her character Pixie Van Dimple.

Project Updates

This week I started sketching out thumbnails for my Sidekicks book. I figured I’ve been playing around with the ideas and story long enough and it was time to put something to paper.  My creative inspiration seems to be back full-time since I started working back in the office.

What I’m reading

This past week I reread the graphic branching novel, “Meanwhile” by Jason Shiga.  About a year ago, I was working on one of my own, but it needs more work; thus, doing the ‘Sidekicks’ comic book first.

“Meanwhile” is a fun hard-cover graphic novel that allows the reader to choose their own path for the character which acts more as a solo adventure game than a comic book.  I have reread it many times and almost every time it is a different ending.

Personal Updates

This past week was my first full week of going back to the office.  That change of scenery, interaction, and environment, has jumpstarted my creative process.  There must be something connected to the fact that I had easy access to my art supplies while working from home, it hampered my desire to do it.

I always had the drive to work on my WIPs, but I really think ease of accessibility and analysis paralysis were both contributing factors of stalled-out progress.

Also more good news on the Vermont vaccine front: we are at about 78% vaccination rate!
