Project Updates
I have been steadily drawing out my Sister Kittens drawing by working on some backgrounds. It is slow-moving, but I am excited to be working more with Procreate on it.
What I’m reading
As I am working on a few comic scripts, I decided to break out Paul Kupperberg’s Illustrated Guide to Writing Comics as a reference point. It is a great reference book for comic scriptwriting and very easy to follow along. I recommend it to folks who are starting to write and it is also a great reference and reminder book for seasoned writers too.
Personal Updates
This past week, Rick started laying out the paving stones for my backyard walkway. It is coming along nicely. My battle with the cedar hedge continues. I am hoping to keep it alive. I bought a soaker hose and I think, that is the thing I need for it.
I spent the weekend helping my father cut and stack wood for sugaring next year. It was nice spending the day with the parents.
Since Covid vaccinations are well above 80% and at 83% in my county. I have mainly stopped tracking cases and vaccination rates on a daily basis.
I also spent the weekend putting together a 3500 piece knock-off Lego set. It is a lighthouse and it took a lot of fun time putting it together.
