This past week we had 2 podcasts.  Nerd Stock Talk, we talked more about Cryptocurrencies.

Then on Thursday, We were excited to have with us the inspirational and acclaimed Author of the book “If I Die Before I Wake: A Caregiver’s Journey”, Eli Shaw!  He had some great and compassionate stories to share.

Project Updates

This past week was a slow week, project-wise. I spent time doing some project re-organizing.  The Sheena project is coming along nicely and I have almost finished drawing out the 6-page story.  Interestingly enough I have an outline of the script but have not written it out yet, even though I already sketched out the pages.

What I’m reading

This past week was a full week of bedtime stories for the little ones.  Most of the week was reading generic fairy tale-type stories.

My four-year-old picked out the book, “Only the Cat Saw” by Ashley Wolff and it was a delightful change of pace to the standard bedtime story fare.

It’s a fun 5-minute story about the day in the life of a family and the house cat’s view of the day.  It reminds us that perspective is important and we should take the time out of each day to appreciate the small things.

Personal Updates

This past week was productive from a daytime work perspective, I am also well on the way of getting out of my doldrums.  Sleeping better and now am fully vaccinated!  I received my 2nd dose two weeks ago.  This week my wife and mother-in-law got their second dose, so in two weeks we’ll all be fully vaccinated.

I also finally received all of my CGC comic books and I have been summarily posting them on eBay.

The hope that things will slowly get back to normal has me looking at some local family trips for the wife, 3 kids, and me in June or July.

Also, as of this writing, Vermont is at 62.3% of eligible Vermonters who received their first shot!  Almost there!
