Storycomic Weekly Newsletter: April 10th
ALWAYS POSTED A WEEK EARLIER ON PATREON
Podcast Updates
This past Sunday on ‘Nerd Stock Talk’ JP chatted with us on how to sell a Put. It is another way to make money on the Stock Market. It was interesting and educational.
On Tuesday I was excited to have with us the highly revered and internationally known television historian, Dave Sundstrom! We chatted about how he creates his videos and had a great time talking about classic television.
Project Updates
I chatted with Greg Giordano this week and got a spot into his public domain comic book anthology project. I decided to combine my present interest in children’s books and my love of the golden age of comics to do a 6-page story based on the Sheena: Queen of the Jungle character but have it about a 6-year-old girl and call it ‘Sheena: Princess of the Backyard’.
I’m excited to share with my Patreons the time-lapse video of making this story.
What I’m reading
This week I received in the mail my copies of issue 1 and 2 of ‘Bric-a-Brac’ from Ryan Haack. I started reading it with my daughters this week and they really loved it. The artwork is great and fits the story and Ryan did a great job in putting together a great plot.
I’m really excited to see what happens in Issue 3 now.
Personal Updates
It was my week off from work and was hoping to do more project stuff but ended up finishing up the reclaimed Hobbit Lego set.
I also played some World of Warcraft Classic this week. Leveling up my Dwarf Hunter. Man, Classic WoW is so fun. Some something completely meditative and nostalgic about it.
