ALWAYS POSTED A WEEK EARLIER ON PATREON

Podcast Updates

This past week, I was fortunate enough to interview EN Ejob, who is the talented comic creator of Zebra Comics.  He was such an inspiration with his undaunted passion for making Zebra Comics a success.

He also made some really cool updated logos for the “Storycomic Presents” . they look super cool and I am extremely grateful to Ejob for the design.

Project Updates

This past week I plugged a bit more on writing some more “Appliance”. I think I am leaning heavily more towards the FATE system than the Powered By The Apocalypse system.

I wrote more notes regarding how prepared foods are in this inanimate sentient world I am building.  I have some fun ideas.

What I’m reading

This past week I read “The Great American Novel” Roleplaying game written by Christopher Grey.  A few weeks back I was asking my friends if anyone knew of a game that combined both the FATE System and the PBTA system and I discovered that I had such a game.

The Great American Novel is a collaborative roleplaying game that allows almost equal story building with players and the game master.

The setting is interesting and unique, allowing games to only take place in Americana Literary settings.  I found the book a fun read and very rules-light. It almost seemed like a party game in its design and intent than a traditional tabletop roleplaying game with long campaign settings.

Personal Updates

This was a fun week of family stuff.  Last weekend I surprised my wife with a weekend getaway.  We spent the weekend away from the kids. I rented a little house for us in North Conway New Hampshire.  We enjoyed some shopping and take out.  Definitely not ready for inside restaurant eating yet.

We also had a delightful thanksgiving with the family here at home.  We did not go out, but Edith ordered a thanksgiving dinner from the store and it was delicious.

Still at 196 pounds, but I am happy that I did not gain anything during thanksgiving week!

Edith and I enjoying the weekend away

After Thanksgiving Dinner we put up the Christmas Tree!
