This past week we helped promote a couple of Kickstarter projects. On Tuesday we had with us the talented comic creator of Comical Foods, Christian Ochoa !
He talked about his latest Kickstarter, “Journey to the Top of The Food Pyramid” Book 1.
On Thursday, I welcomed the larger group of guests so far. I had with us the talented creative team of G.H.O.S.T. Agents: A Spy-Fi Action-Adventure comic! Eli Schwab, Rocko Jerome, Ben Perkins, Sam Royale, and Barry Tan.
Project Updates
This past week was more of Inktober drawing prompts. I am continuing to have a lot of fun drawing and it is helping me learn more about the Procreate app. I also added a few more pages to my book on dad jokes.
What I’m reading
This past week I was inspired by the Halloween season to reread the “Wraith: The Oblivion” second edition roleplaying game sourcebook. The game is part of the original White Wolf ‘World of Darkness’ game line. The players take on the roles of ghosts and try to navigate the horror and hope of finding purpose and peace in the next stage of existence.
I always wanted to run a Wraith campaign, as I love the setting and the storyline potentials, but my gaming style never let me do it.
Personal Updates
Well, I did it! My second weight loss milestone was met. I hit 200 pounds!
This past week I got my booster shot. Much like my other shots, I just have a sore arm and a slight headache for a couple of days. It did not put me out or anything, so I still worked all week.
I also chipped away at ordering missing pieces to my rebuilt Lego sets. Slowly increasing my eBay store inventory. The holiday seasons are approaching, and extra spending money is always welcome.
