ALWAYS POSTED A WEEK EARLIER ON PATREON

Bumps in the Road and Positive Momentum

I had two exciting podcast interviews lined up for this week, but a sore throat that turned into laryngitis forced me to postpone them to next week. I’m sorry for the delay. I promise these upcoming episodes will be worth the wait!

On a brighter note, despite my temporary setback, I've been making great progress with my other two podcasts, "We Make Children's Books" and "Vermont Artists & Authors." Both shows are still going strong, and we've been producing some fantastic content that I think you'll really enjoy.

In addition to podcasting, I’ve been focusing on creating more shorts for my YouTube channel. The effort is paying off, as I’ve seen a positive effect on my subscriber numbers. It's been encouraging to see the growth and engagement, and I’m excited to keep this momentum going.

Thank you all for your patience and continued support. I’ll be back on track with the postponed interviews next week, and in the meantime, I hope you enjoy the new content on my other podcasts and YouTube channel.

Exciting Update on 'Daddest Jokes Volume'

I’m thrilled to share fantastic news about our 'Daddest Jokes Volume' project! We now have the book's prelaunch page live on Kickstarter! This is a huge milestone, and we are so excited to show that we are officially making great progress.

For those who might not be familiar with Kickstarter, it is a crowdfunding platform where creators can raise funds for their projects by receiving pledges from supporters like you. By backing a project, you help bring it to life, and in return, you often get special rewards or early access to the product.

We would love for you to check out our prelaunch page. It’s really important to click the notification button on our Kickstarter page because it ensures you’ll be notified when our campaign goes live. This way, you can be among the first to pledge and take advantage of any early bird specials or limited rewards we might offer.

Your support and enthusiasm mean the world to us, and we can't wait to bring this hilarious collection of dad jokes to life. Stay tuned for more updates, and thank you for joining us on this journey!

Book Review: "The Clone Wars Flip Book Heroes & Villains"

If you're a Star Wars fan and a parent looking for a fun and engaging way to introduce your kids to the Clone Wars universe, "The Clone Wars Flip Book Heroes & Villains" is a perfect choice. I recently read through this book with my daughters, fresh off watching the first six Star Wars movies in the machete order, and we had an absolute blast.

This flip book serves as a fantastic introduction to the characters and storyline of the Clone Wars TV show, which we're planning to explore next. It's designed to be both informative and entertaining, making it ideal for young fans eager to learn more about the epic battles between the Jedi and the Sith, the Republic and the Separatists.

What I particularly appreciated about "The Clone Wars Flip Book Heroes & Villains" is its ability to simplify complex storylines and character arcs without losing the essence of what makes Star Wars so compelling. Each character profile is packed with fascinating facts and tidbits that sparked lively discussions and questions from my girls.

Overall, "The Clone Wars Flip Book Heroes & Villains" is a must-have for any Star Wars-loving family. It's a fun, educational, and visually appealing book that sets the stage perfectly for watching the Clone Wars TV show. Whether you're a long-time fan or new to the Star Wars saga, this book will surely delight and entertain. It is highly recommended!

Personal Update: Optimism and New Beginnings

As we approach the end of the month, I’m filled with optimism and excitement about the progress at the radio station. Things look hopeful, and the hopper has some fantastic program ideas. One of the most exciting projects we’re considering is relaunching the outdoor show that the station used to air long ago. It’s a beloved classic, and I’m thrilled about possibly returning it.

On a personal note, I’ve been battling a lingering cold that stubbornly stuck around in the form of a cough and sore throat. It’s been quite the challenge, especially since having a good voice is crucial for working at the radio station. Thankfully, I’m on the mend and looking forward to returning to my best.

The week ended on a high note with a fun family moment. I went to the bus stop to pick up Edith’s cousin and my first podcast guest, Jane Straw. She’s visiting for the next few weeks, and having her here has been wonderful. I am excited to show her around Vermont and show her what it has to offer.
