While these things happen and are part of the dynamic nature of running a podcast, it does mean a slight shift in our usual programming. Despite the slowdown, I'm actively working on scheduling new guests for the 2024 season of the podcast. Each day at the radio station brings new learning experiences, and I'm happy to report that I'm getting more comfortable with the rhythm of things. There's a certain satisfaction in seeing all the pieces come together, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to grow in this role.
First Radio Advertising Package Sold
In a significant milestone for me, I've officially sold my first radio advertising package! The client is a local floral design company, and I'm thrilled to be supporting local businesses while expanding the station's reach. It's a win-win situation, and I'm looking forward to more such collaborations in the future.
Vermont Association of Broadcasters Annual Gala
Recently, my wife and I attended the Vermont Association of Broadcasters annual gala. It was an incredible experience, filled with networking and reconnecting with familiar faces from television. It's amazing to be part of such a vibrant community, and the event was a fantastic opportunity to learn and be inspired.
The Christmas Shopping Season
With the Christmas shopping season in full swing, the festive atmosphere is hard to miss. It's a busy time of the year, but there's a unique joy in the air that makes everything feel special. Whether it's finding the perfect gifts for loved ones or simply enjoying the holiday decorations around town, there's a lot to be excited about.
