This was another delightfully busy week for podcasts.  We had 3 shows.  This past Sunday was another episode of Nerd Stock Talk where we chatted about REITs.  On Tuesday, we were excited to have with us the internationally acclaimed Illustrator, Kamila Król!

Project Updates

It was a slow week of working on projects, unfortunately. But I hope to have more Sheena pictures to share for next week!

What I am reading

This past week I caught up on my ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ comics; issues 7 through 13.  The only current comics I have read besides that are several X-men titles, so I cannot help but compare.  I really have started to prefer the space-faring comic titles as it seems like more epic events take place that has lasting meta plot effects as compared to the more earth-bound titles.

I am also curious to see where the storyline is going.  Al Ewing, the writer is making the not-so-subtle comparison to the team with the Avengers, by calling the team the ‘Space version of the Avengers.’

Personal Updates

This past week was unusually cool, and it hampered any major outdoor projects for me.  In between meetings, I puttered around the front yard and weeded out this invasive crawling ivy plant that sort of took over my lawn, but I am confident that I am winning that battle.

More good news on the vaccine front here in Vermont, as of this recording, we are at 70.9% of eligible Vermonters who have received their first dose!  We are getting there!
